They use LightWave for Video Game Manuals..For the maps and things.....pretty neat stuff.
Also they just won a short films festival:
"Dia De Muertos" (created entirely in LightWave), was honored with "Best Experimental Film" to a sold-out and wildly-applauding crowd during the Opening Night Champagne Gala at the "3 Minute Film Festival" in Santa Fe, NM (September 6, 2002).
