I just wanted to find out if any of you people have bought or read these books and if they are useful for lightwave. the reason that I got a little interested is that the price of the books are cheaper on amazon.ca (canadian) than amazon.com (american) $54 canadian vs $59 american. That is a huge deal and one that i am wondering whether it should be taken advantage of. I do have Timothy Albee's book and just started reading it the other day so I am not sure if it will be a waste of money even tough there is huge savings

canadian (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/1931841489/qid=1031504306/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_0_1/702-9590227-7189603)

american (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1931841489/ref=pd_sim_books/102-3386847-3695342?v=glance&s=books)

I'd be interested too -- I usually try to get any LightWave related books -- but funds are a little tight -- so I have to watch it.

Anyone? Recommend them? Use 'em for firewood?

sept 9 - i just picked up Visual Compositing (grey) version and it looks sweet. I had the setup book for almost 2 months now and it very detail in principles outside of the Maya step by step and the 'inspired' papers with Tippet is great.

It really does inspire...
I give u a review of Visual when I finish reading them.
