I am rigging a character for å short. I have made one rigg for the animator to animate, and one rigg for the deformation. When the animation is almost final, the animator reference in the deformation rigg.
The deformation-rigg is then connected with a script that connects the rotation and translation of the joints.
The strange thing is the way that things now react on how the top-node of the riggs are placed in the outliner:
1. If the deformation-rigg is over the animation-rigg the deformation-rigg does not follow like it should.
2. I can hide the animation-rigg using layers, but if I hide the top-node og the animation-rigg; the deformation-rigg does not follow like it should.
3. If the animation-rigg is hidden using layers; when I unhide, it will be in the wrong pose until I move to another frame.
3. otherwise; it works perfect :)
------
How can I avoid theese strange happenings? And why is it happening?
