I think it would help if you could attach the scene so I could mess around with it. I'm not that advanced that I can look at those and see any immediate problems.

Since you have advanced render, look at using SSS in your milk. I am not too familiar with it but it seems like the perfect opportunity to learn and apply it to your scene.

Hi - try adding some luminance to the milk material, add a render tag if you dont want it to affect the general lighting of the scene..
