Hello

Ive been working on a robot model for quite some time now and for the finishig touch, i want to add animated electrical cable. As seen in the subject, I have reactor. The only problem is that i can't seem to get the cable to behave like a real electrical cable(stifness etc.).

Can somebody please help me out?

Maybee some setting that work?

Or is Reactor's rope just intended for rope animation?

Thanks in advance!

I have had better results by making the cables out of renderable splines. Attaching a dummy to each knot. and using the spring controler on the middle knots. Looks great and you can adjust stiffness.

Best of all, it plays back in realtime and requires no calcs.

Food for thought.
