View Full Version : What of C4D in the educational field?
ernia 01-16-2005, 02:55 AM Hello all,
My first post!
I was wondering what all of you have seen or heard regarding the use of C4D in educational/explanatory graphics field. Shows like Nova, History channel, etc. Even the daily news extensive use of 3d cg.
Do any of you work in these areas? And do you use C4D?
I'm becoming more and more interested in this type of work and would like to see what the members have experienced.
Thanks,
ernia :)

There are quite a few using cinema for medical ilustration, as for specific shows or networks, I know one studio whose done some stuff for discovery, thats about it for my personal knowledge.
Honestly i see no reason to treat these specific types of shows any different then others in terms of needs. you need to get things done fast make thigns look real but still render out by the end f the day. cinema 4D fits perfectly into this field imo.

Kai, what percentage of this type of work is freelance? Can you tell me of instances where you know of one person producing this type of work?
I agree that c4d is perfect for this kind of work. This program is very easy to use and, now with v9, very powerful too.
