Title: Spider
Name: Oscar Perez Ayala
Country: Espana
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay, ZBrush
Hi, everyone!
Spider.
I used 3dsmax to create the base scene.
Then I went over this base image with ZBrush to sculpt the details.
Finally, I used Photoshop for post-production effects.

Really cool model and scene. Reminds me of Shelob in LOTR. The spider's front left foot (viewer's right) looks a little out of synch with the rest of the image...kind of like it's floating and ungrounded. Maybe the leg is moving and is in the air, but still, the lack of shadow takes away a bit from the image. Overall, very cool!

the large spider looks a little "dry" to me. Maybe you could make him a little shinier? The large spider just looks like her is made out of rubber or something.

Great stuff! I do agree about that right leg though, really looks out of place there. :/

This is such a beautiful image, the lighting is superb, the one crit is the color of the rock and beatle make the smaller beatle, or spider or whatever it is, lost. I think what the rubber look is coming from is the lack of variation in your highlights, they're very monotonous...no part shinier than the other, no signs of wear and dirt...
