View Full Version : Chamfer problem
3d123 01-13-2005, 06:51 AM Hi, im making my model and it starts out as a box, but then i chamfered some edges but one of the sides goes wrong (dont know how to explain it) but first, i chamfered 2 of the verticle edges, then selected the top edges and chamfered those, but on only one side it does this problem and not the other, i have uploaded 2 pictures below, one of the first chamfer on the top edges and the 2nd the 2nd chamfer on the top edges. ( it is not the actual model i am making, its just to show the problem)

Just a stupid question, but couldn't you use a chamfer box to solve this problem?

Any reason why you can't just work BACK from a chamfered box and adjust the edges the way you want them?

i could but i wouldnt know how and if i did, it would be annoying me that i couldnt sort the problem :p but of course if no one has a solution i guess i will have to work from a chamfer box.
