Way back when I had 3dstudio R4 (DOS)
I made this for carver corporation, I was a Computer aided designer and created many things while there, this is a render of my AUTOCAD r12 model.

I had a P133 with 64mb and a matrox 8mb video card. Running Dos and windows 3.1

Ahh the good old days

this is a Hometheater product, for controlling your sound system, THX aproved and dolby digital, with 5.1 surround sound.

I started working with 3d programs on a AMD 80 MHz DX 2 processor with 16 MB of RAM. I know how difficult it is to create a complex scenery on such a machine. The model is quite good. My first 3d images in those days were reflecting spheres on chessboards ;)

yeah it took like all day to render that one image at a higher resolution, we used it at a CES Show to present our newest product on the way.

Yeah I remember them days of spheres and such, I always tryed to make complex scenes,, always crashing the poor old machine, had a 386 and 486 just before all of this most of my rendering never exceeded 640x480, but was usullay much lower, 320x200 or so.

Ahhh so glad to be out of the dark ages
