Hey,

Im looking for a Window base 3D laptop for when Im on the road. Im on a budget, so Im not looking for a top-of-the-line model...like geforce Quadra base Laptops.

Between ATI 7500 64 and Geforce 440 64, which direction should I go? Should I go high-end with screen type, or do I get almost as good viewing with lower-end screen type? Can I upgrade CD/DVD and HD later?

Thanks,

Saurus

if i have to choose, nvidia, better drivers, about the screen? you mean sxga xga or UXGA? i would go with UXGA thats enough, dell haves the ultrasharp.... but i dont know how much of diference between that and UXGA
about the dvdCDRW upgrade.... yes you can... in the dell inspiron for example... you have the modular bay, you can take out the DVD and put a DVD/CDRW combo or another hd in the place... slower of course....and i think that you can upgrade the HD too, they seel it on the peripherals sector of the site... so i guess that you can upgrade it yourself
i cant be so accurate because i dont have a laptop yet
but about the LCD screens, they are not so acurate with colors... thats what ive heard so, if you can get the better....
