Hey guys,

I'm trying to write a script that'll turn any arbitrary polygon into a series of quads like the top mesh in image below (from PowerBooleans).

Does anybody know how this is done? Where I can maybe find some white papers on the topic? Or anything that can help.

did you take a look at Gene Cruceans Quadrangulate script? maybe this helps you..

Nah, that looks like it just removes edges to make quads out of tris, not exactly what I'm looking for.
