hi all,

i am doing a little site for myself, can anyone recomend me a good non serif, readable font for text on a flash website.

i am searching for a simple, straight forward type of font, not absolutely futuristic nor too conservative. and it should work for more than headtitles.

thanks for help, best would be a free font.

cheers

the links lead you to what is called "pixel fonts"

make sure you understand how to use them, or they will look smudgy

- most pixel fonts must be used at 8 points (or they will specify an exact point size)
- you cannot scale or resize them in any way
- your tracking and kearning must be zero, you leading must be mulitples of 8
- VERY IMPORTANT: in Flash, make sure they are positioned at "whole" numbers (a font cannot be at x-230.7 y- 56.4 - all position number MUST be whole - x-230, y-57)
