Hi all,

ok here is the challenge i'm facing. I created a scene with a Biped shooting with a machine gun. My machine gun has burst fire coming out and its animated with a Fire effect that has a Noise float on it.

Meaning the flash goes on and off with a random animation seed over 300 frames.

My question is, Can i use that same Noise float animation to animate my Biped or the hand that holds the rifle, so it looks like he's moving at same rythm of gun and How do i do it ???

Cause when you fire a machine gun you shake like the gun right?

Here is the tutorial where i got it.

p.s. i will post a picture if not clear enough.

I would suggest linking your hand controlls or whatever to the machinegun. A simple position constrain should do it. You might also want to check out the look-at constrains for a more detailed effect - but I don't know how exactly your scene is set up.

You'll find the constrain controllers in the "Animation" menu.

hope that took you a little further ... cheers.
