nice nice.
Render one with a higher antialiasing level.
Hmmm, but one point. Check the lower part of the door. That isn't right!!!
Are the taillights full modelt or just a image tex? Need a litle bit more red.
Cya.
That's really a great modelisation, and the render looks good.
There's maybe a little problem on the second image, the metal "head stabilizators :)" (or wathever you call these) don't look right. there are no shadow, like if it was a 'collage'.
But a like it, really.
I've done my first car yesterday... and hum... this one just kills mine :surprised .
you can tray to put an environement to make the reflexion more interesting.

I don't like the TT at all and I think it's an ugly car, but this is an extremly well done model, and it's also nicely presented.
Well done! :applause:

nice job on the model and render. It looks to be very detailed.
Be carful though, it looks like some of your pannals are not quite aligned properly with one another.

Well this is a nicely done rendering and a really good model job!
One question though: Is this "YOUR" TT concept or did you actually wanted to rebuild the original? The audi tt convertible is a TWO seater car! Your's is not! And for my taste of cars you destroyed this nice concept with your 4seatmixup!
Sorry just my opinion!.
Put you an image in to see what i'm talking about!

Hi!
Prayas Yes I thought that too. His tt looks like mixed with a A4 Cabrio :p
But I wasn't sure...I'Ve never drove a tt.

Yeah it looks pretty well done, a little more refinements in the materials and it would be perfect, not that it isn't great, its sometimes harder to take it to that next level.
I noticed that the chrome roll bars were further back from the seats than the usual TT, then prayas pointed out the rear seats, so I guess its gotta be a concept, or modification of the original.
I wonder what the roof top would look like, since the car must be longer in the roof area and maybe the body too.
Anyhoo keep up the excellent car modeling, us car people love stuff like this, even if its the famous TT, that everyone seems to model, not sure why so popular. Ton's of tutorials I guess.

I love the model, but the anti-aliasing is not good nor is the Jpeg quality.

hi.
I did a fast overpaint in photoshop, how the car would look with a hard- or softtop.
THE Problem are the rollover bars (whats the name for that?) they are to high for a nice roundet roof. So U destroy the nice TT design (hehe we also could say newBeetle design) :P
So I would lower they, or remove. Coz they are mostly behind the front seats.

He daniel! The TT roadster is a pure two seater car! This one looks like you said some kind of mixed up with the A4!
I think the word for this ugly things behind the seat is rollbars!
Don't now but i think this was word was used for it!
Your sketch makes up the changes pretty clear! Pointed out this way the design becomes somehow ugly!
Just my tast as i said before!

No, the Audi TT has 4 seats (all with seat belts)... but the back ones are just really small, only for a small child or animal. :)
Daniel

oki I checked my blueprints from the coupe.
there are a small seat, U may could call it "emegency seats" nothing more. So he made the seats to big (long.) Thats his prob.
May he had no blueprint or good side view of that car?
But U also can use the TT BluePrints. The car should be the same!
Just move the rollover-bar behind the front seats"

hey guys nice discusion, but believe me the audi tt coupe and roadster have only 2 seats !
behind the driver seat there is the first aid kit and behind the second seat is something like a storage box!
....but no seats.....

Well, it is a great job, I think your error is an easy fix. You can either extend the rear cover, or remove the roll bars. Without the mislocated roll bars, it wouldn't look soo bad. I don't know or care whether the TT has the 2 extra seats, but just for the record, if it does have the seats, sports car enthusiaists would refer to it as a 2+2. So I say just label your model AUDI TT 2+2 Prototype. Also, I was thinking.... Oh god not another TT, but you did a great job modeling and rendering, usually they are done pretty mediocrely, that wasn't the case here.

well.....well.....Thank you so much about your advices! Thank you so much, specaily Daniel. Yes, you are right, the audi TT just only have two seats.I make some change:) In fact,I made this first(see this image)
And then, I made it use maya and render it in mentalray. But I feel that the maya nurbs tools was not so easy to use as Rhino's.

hey greco ...is this tt coupe a seperate modell or is this a modified roadster you posted before?!
i checked the seat problem yesterday at work...and now: daniel is right with the coupe there are little (i mean very little) seats, but the roadster have onle the two seats cause of the room for the open roof!
so i think you know that already so i don't bore you with this...
you did actually a great job in modelling these both tt versions, i like them very much, cause i thnik i'm not that good in reference carmodelling ... but i never tryed yet....
so i hope you go on with that good stuff , that we can see some more in the future!
ps: i think the door of the tt coupe has a problem, the reflection line seems to be brocken and the door looks like it's open or something like that.....
hope you can tell me the reason for this (i mean the left of the door under the sidemirror)

The coupè was far better than the roadster ;) try fixing that door, I agree with dxtreme, it seems open

Thanks facial,but I am afraid I am not a professional . Maybe later I will be ...:p
DXtreme:I don't konw why the door's reflection line render like that. It has no open with the model. Can you tell me why?
Daniel
09-10-2002, 01:54 PM
Hi.
The problem with the reflection is because the door polygones are not on the same position like the body polygones...Oh hehe...hmmm, show us a wireframe...Or check the vertices on "X-Axis", near the door!!!
