as the title sugessts im after reccomendations on which monitor to get. Id really like a good quality shadow mask monitor for 3d work. I tried the LG ez 910 but it was shocking i recieved 2 faulty LG's from the same retailer and gave up with LG after that. So im a little hesidant now when looking for another monitor....

ATM i seem to be leaning towards the viewsonic for its 77hz refresh rate at 1600x1200...

I'd go for a monitor that can support 1600x1200 @ 85hz instead. I have the Viewsonic G90fb and 1600x1200 @75hz isn't very pleasent to use. I get dizzy after awhile.

Is the 957DF a shadow mask?

I'm also using a G90fb. But I wasnt happy at all on 1600x1200 @ 75hz resolution so I
cranked it down to 1280x1024 @ 85hz.

Overall I'm quite happy at those specs.

I agree with mracer, which ever model gives you the best refresh rate at high res.

yeh i realy would like a monitor capable of doing 1600x1200 @ 85...but id like it to be shadow mask.....

does viewsonic make such a product...? ill look into it.
