View Full Version : Character: Bored Sketch
BigNasty 09-06-2002, 01:40 AM It was the end of class today, I had a few minutes to spare so I decided to draw something.... I came up with this...
Software used - Mechanical pencil with .5 lead and standar paper..... lol
Rendering time - 10 minutes
I am bored as of right now so I decided to submit it...... One thing that made me mad was that I started drawing too low, so his feet got cut off.... that's why I'm using the cheesy gradient shading thing...... other than that, I like it... I might do some work in Photoshop and actually make something out of it if I have time.

great stuff love the proportions, kinda reminds me of the same sorta thing I did with my moose charater, relly long wide forearms, narrow upperarms, large hands and head (not as large as yours) I guess I am kinda partiial to this.
And here is the perfect solution to your feet issue, always keepa pac of 3M post it notes with tyou, when you need to sketch or correct a sketch, or in this case add more paper, post it notes are your best friends, when I am animating, instead of redrawing an entire pose, I'll often lap on a post it note, and draw a new arm head whatever it may be.
