CGTalk - Combustion : simple n00b questions

View Full Version : Combustion : simple n00b questions

Well.. i got combustion yesturday for Trial, and played with it for 2 hours..
But i missed something, cause i can't find some VERY simple functions ...
For example, how can i Freeze one frame, for a specific amount of time ?
Or to get a part of a clip double it's play time (or half, or other parametric??)

Other thing : how can i get a mask to apply ONLY on one wanted item or layer, without affecting all the others (this is when i want to use more than one mask on one compositing ..

As for the second one, I'm not sure exactly how to answer that... I always create masks by right clicking on the item I want to mask and going to add operator from there. It's always been applied to only one item/layer for me doing it that way... :shrug:
