Hello Dear Forum Members,

I have modeled & rendered a few objects for a Dining Room Scene. The 4th picture showing a flower in the green bottle does not have it's identical reflection in the mirror, even though the other objects were reflected in the mirror.

I'm using Maya 6.0 on a WinXP platform. Can somebody tell me how to get the flower to reflect off the mirror like the other objects in the scene? Thanks. Please go to :

to view my rendered stills. Thanks for your help in advance.

Warmest Regards,

Andrew

Is the flower a model or a picture mapped to a plane?

Well, I created the flower using Maya's Paint method, where I made a round planar object in the vase "paintable" & used Maya's brush to paint the stroke of the flower. The strange thing's that when I render the scene, I can see the shadow of the flower against the wall, but the flower doesn't appear as a reflection in the mirror. Thanks for your help.

Hope you can reply soon.

Regards,

Andrew
