Title: Honda 1965
Name: Mohammad Nour
Country: United Arab Emirates
Software: Maya, mental ray
This is Honda car Model 1965. I made it using Myay and I wanted the rendering to be simple and almost using the grayscale colors.
I would love to hear your comments although I know this work can not be compared to the art submitted here in CGtalk.

Yeah i have toruble beliving this is a finished picture. it just looks like default textures and lighting to me. Good job with what you have, but it doesn't look finished to me.
thanks guys.
texturing..hmmmmm i think you are right but such a car dose not have much texturing in general.
Maybe i should have added a number.
I must say I’m not so good in creating surrounding environment.
Thanks anyway.

They sure do have textures. Even if the textures are simple decals such as the red sun, and the numbers over the white paint. They also do tend to get dirty throughout the course of a race.

Pretty clean model. I assume you had some photos as a refference. I am saying this because the seat looks like made of wood (and fur sure they had some comfty leather seats for those 24 hours races like Le Mains), the exhaust is soooo thinn for a 4-5000CC engine. Same with the air traps from the side. For the texturing, well it looks like work in progress to mee too. They were dark gray or dark green or like the ferraris, bright red...With those BIG circular shaped numbers....C'mon! You can do better!

I must admit , i'm convinced now that this is not a finished model. :)
I think i was in rush to post my model. My bad.
I will make some texturing although i'm not good.
I don't know..... if the moderators wants to move the thread to unfinished section , i wouldn't mind.
I think i should have taken my time.
hmmmmmmm...bad reputation for first post here...isn't it?
