Does anyone happen to know how to make instanced particles bank/lean when flying along a curveflow. There's a few older threads on this subject, but no real answer to the question, so i thought i'd ask again.

(this would be the equivalent to putting an object on a motionpath and then set the banking to be ON, only..with particles on a curveflow)

it's not a straight forward process:
you have to capture the velocity vector in a variable then use the difference between the current and the captured velociy vector to determine how much the vector shifts in xyz space, the using the aim and worldup components in the instancer you could write an expression to bank the particles as much as you want.
