View Full Version : a few questions, just a few...
is here any motherboard supporting dual cpu and SLI? either xeon or opteron...
and how is the 3d processing performance of the SLI?
another important question, i had heard that the geforce 6 series, forget whether it is 6600GT, 6600, 6800 or 6800GT, can be tuned reaching the level of some 3d professional graphic card, possibly quadra fx 2000. is it possible to tune the geforce 6 series to that level?

I have seen dual cpu + SLI on a mobo, don't remember if it was Alienware or Boxx offering it, but I'm pretty sure of this. Performance increase with SLI is about 60-70% which is quite good. I'm not sure though if SLI will run with Quadro drivers...

If you're going to use Intel processors check out www.supermicro.com (http://www.supermicro.com) for a motherboard with dual proc and SLI. If you'll be using AMD Opterons go to www.tyan.com (http://www.tyan.com)
Good luck!

I really don't know. That's not something we would ever do here.
