this may seem like a stupid problem (and probably it is) but I can't seem to find the solution
I need to weld two vertices together, and I have done this before, but this time it's not working at all

it doesn't matter how high I set the treshold for the welding, they don't want to weld

I'm talking about a hand that I need to weld to an arm, I have already attached the box of the hand to the box of the body

Can't you just target weld them?

I've encountered this problem before. It's really irritating. I'm not sure if I remember right, but you may have to attach the 2 meshes before you're able to weld vertices, or maybe you have to draw an edge between them. They somehow got to be connected to make it work...

the two meshes are allready attached, that is the strange thing about it
I'll try to draw an edge between them ... hope it works .. otherwise .. see you later :)

It's not working either ..
real troubling because I can't do a thing with the character right now.

ok, I fixed it
problem was: the object I was trying to attach and then weld had a polygon on the side I was trying to attach, so I removed it and after that I could attach and weld the object without any troubles
