Nice looking storyboard, would like to see it animated, but what do you mean by animate it in the chinese style? the only eastern animation styles Ive seen have been from japan and a few modern shows from china.

i don't understand what style you mean: modern or traditional? but i think that's traditional because it's truly remarkable.
you need attend to the particular traits of the Chinese painting: space- EMTY SPACE, it's
very diferent from the estern painting.

Very nice. Was it digitally done or hand drawn? and if it was hand drawn what materials did you use, ink wise.

Thanks, LiQuiD.

wow, this is amazing. i wish i could do a story board such as this. i love the way you seem to have drawn it out, and then maybe have edited it in photoshop or something of the like. the way it is done is fantastic. tho i dont understand the story behind it ;) i am, sure its a good one.

Awesome drawings, but i'm at a lost at what's going on? I think you gotta have more establish shot showing the relationships between the characters and with the character and the background. And take your time, don't rush the boards, it seems like certain scenes are missing.

INteresting stuff. Hope to see more

Thanks guys!

TO ace4016: HAHA NOT animate in a chinese style I think that is difficult for 3D animation

because old chinese art didn't care form and structure they like to use line to describe the

space just like drawing a fish but u can feel the water around it

TO hatran: YEAH!MAN I AGREE ITHINK THE LINE IN Chinese painting IS SO COOL ~~~

U CAN FEEL THE power and speed in a single line~~~

TONigel B: THANKS :p~~~ i will put it on later:P`

toLiQuiD12: i painted all the pic in photoshop ~~:) redo is impotant for me in a hurry work~~~ha

TOEtomthnu Telos: the story behind it is from a sowordsmen novel :P

toconsumer12002: ya~~ the story is for our client it's only the general idea about the animation not use for our facture and I note some chinese to tell about the camera movement and I didn't translate haha ~~~I'M a lazy guy%$#%$~

It all looks great, but I'd like to see the kind of transitions you've planned between the shots. Are they all just cuts, or are there any pans, turck- ins/outs, fades, flashscreens, whipscreens or any experimental transitions?

I usualy mark the kind of transition I intend to have and if there's a camera move I try and indicate it in my storyboard pannels.

hey i like your drawing style....but as kamsvag mentioned....a description of transition by text or visually and indication of camera movement or character movement by an arrow will make it more descriptive....:)
