stryfe 09-04-2002, 05:29 AM hi guys i have a problem here i was model woman in 3d an put it hair but i can't animate the body with the hair (ican control the hair move) some body can help me :bounce:

You could try Shag's built-in dynamics system. I haven't used it for a while because it used to be truly terrible, but there have been a couple of updates since then so it may have improved.
Your other option is to use a cloth simulator (I'd recommend SimCloth) to calculate the bounce of the hair. If you don't want too much movement I suppose you could also try Flex-ing it. Either way you'll need to go into the Modify Panel (with the ShagView object selected) and choose "Convert To... Cloth Mesh".

thanks for your help :thumbsup: but my principal problem is make than the hair stays attachet to the head when the head is moving, generaly the hair loose his position when the head moves and mores with the head rotation

Is the head the hair emitter? If it is you shouln't have any problems, and if it you have a separate emitter object you simply link it to the skull node.
If you have used loads of model hairs they might need linked to the head, I believe it's supposed to be done automatically but it wouldn't hurt to check. It's also possible that the hair is "popping" when the emitter deforms, if that's the problem there is a little checkbox in the ShagHair entry called "keep initial shape" which should help.
Don't know if that helps, it's hard to tell without a more specific description of the problem.
