Advice??????
MY advice to you is gimme some of that talent!
Sheez!
Thats friggin' awesome!
Maybe a little DOF but unless you have X-DOF I wouldnt worry about it.
The backgroubd pic is pixelized but really overall looking good dude!
Lets see some more renders along these lines.
Looking great!:applause:

I agree with Ezz, the eyes aren't really comfy. They have the anime feel, but the middle point is possibly a little sharp. Also looks like she has a bit of a hang-over (slight bagginess under her eyes).
Also, that background is very pixelated. Is that deliberate?

Try a celshader :)
And, this reminds me of the finalfantasy movies, youre sure you dont work for square? :)
Great work, especially the lighting effects...
Great character, you should work on the background though :)

the character is cool I don't like the hat though. maybe add some structure (bump?) to ist or use a cel shader ->right now it looks like a piece of clay...

Hi! It's an awesome work. Just give some folds to the hat. Indeed the face is a little odd. she looks like a mature lady, not that childish face that anime have. Perhaps if you don't put those bags under her eyes. Just that. and texturize the clothes. But 5 stars for you!!! great character!:bounce:
Ps: Maybe a Mecha to put her inside? Or a motorcycle... that should improve your scene.

Interesting work. Nice and original. If you want advice, the only thing I could say is to add texture to your maps, right now most of them are flat. Bump maps could be interesting. Anyways, nice work.

1.beautiful background albeit a bit pixelized
2. i guess the eyes have issues, but i think the whole face and/or its expression is not what i'm getting from the background
3. the whole theme is really wishy washy, i mean you have a fantasy setting with a character that very much resembles claire redfield from the resident evil series.
3-2. if you stay with the look you have know i think you should add a gun or make her more cop-ish. i maen the magic can still play a part but if she has no fire arms, she just really looks misplaced
p.s. who ever said it was a female :p

Awesome character. I dig the theme to and IMHO i wouldn't add any firearms (Seems to be the quick fix nowadays.)
I guess the only thing is the eyelids seem like they are pulled a little too far away from the eyes. But the eyes look awesome. Maybe a little more detail in the hat, but badass character. The fishies are kickn too. Cool texture...very pastelly. How did u do the hair?
