Shadows

The default lighting will be turned off when you create a light of any kind, rember to activate the shadows of the light that you create.

I reccomend you to read some Lighting tutorials, will help you a lot, because lighting sometimes could be frustrating :banghead:

You can uncheck default light in front page of render globals. Also, if your shadows are ray-traced, they wont appear unless you enable raytracing in render globals as well.

ohh, alright thanks... the model isnt really shading well still though. Its like a really sharp cutoff between white and black, I tried using raytraced shadows and also increasing the rays etc.. Anyways, I'll read up on it, thanks a lot
