how can i do without code, for repeat a texture (1024*1024) on all a big surface
i want to apply a fine texture of grass on my landcape

You could take it into photoshop, use the offset filter, and paint away the seams so it will tile.

no in fact, i want to repeat my texture (dimensions 1024*1024) because a fine texture for all my landscape would be very big and so very heavy ...

Textures in LightWave are repeated by default. Just apply it to the surface using one of the standard projection methods (planar, cylindrical, spherical or cubic) and set its Scale values accordingly to repeat it.

You could use automatic sizing to fit a single image onto your surface then in the scale tab divide the X and Y channels' values (or whatever your orientation) by the number of times you want your texture yo be repeated. Hope that helps.

Yes but if you don't make it tilable, it's going to look like crap when you repeat it in lightwave.
