I know what you mean. I think it's a quote from a movie, but I can't figure out which one.
"Cute AND crazy. My favorite combination." . . .or something like that. :)

Was the line from "Blind Date" with Kim Basinger and Bruce Willis? The friend warns Willis that Kim's character gets really crazy when she drinks. Willis doesn't get it and says, "Cute and crazy...." blah blah... I'll see if I can come up with an idea.

Cute and Crazy...

http://www.k-squared.com/cutecrazy.jpg

Okay..don't ask me to explain this...its some kind of squirrel like creature sitting in a tree drinking beer. I think its yesterday's freeflow combined with today's topic. Anyway he looks kind of crazed and scary to me, so you decide! :)

About 1 hr PS/Wacom.

[edit: just realized we've all drawn stuff with animals. hmmm...wonder what that means?]

http://picserver.org/view_image.php/FVCWLJ05PTS1/p.jpegJ Grieve, i like your cat, very rough looking, wouldn't want to be a mouse near him....
Doomdragon,,, hehehe, your funniest yet i think...his right arm looks MUCH longer than his left though! (maybe for the express purpose of sticking forks into live toasters? Who knows...)
Cocoknight, good conception....although her head doesn't really look attached to her body, oh well!
Octothreat, good stuff, possibly your best yet? I like the burned fingers! Cat doesn't look too happy though?
Robin....lol, he definitely looks crazed to me, is he rabid? I normally rather like squirrels but this one is just too darn scary. i like your cartoon colours though.
Here's mine, 20 mins ps. CRITS WELCOME! pls. ignore the background as i don't have much time to fix it up. thanks!

Drawmonger, great self portrait mate! (hehheh...)
FridayEve, I think she's more like a wolfschild. Good concept.
Bixer, love those little critters! Especially the one in the middle.
Paperclip, I wonder who's the most dangerous... the anatomy of the beast looks a bit fuzzy tho.
Robin, that's one giant squirrel or a very tiny bear bottle ;) Those eyes are Crazy...Cute ears.
Octothreat, cute cat, crazy pirate... I like the look in the cats eyes and the pirate's teeth.
But I think the cat's bag is choking the pirate.
Cocoknight, that's one crazy chick! Must be Spanish... or Texan...
Doomdragon, maybe you could make an 'after' pic... (you know 'before-after' :) )
J_grieve, that looks like my cat. Only my cat looks cute and crazy. Great characters.

This is my first post in the daily sketch section. Only had my wacom for a couple of weeks, so I'm still practising.

I tried to get that 'cute baby in a straight jacket' look but ran out of time.

HA HA...good catch there Art2...but didn't you know that all rabid crazed sqirrels prefer to drink beer in the smaller "pony-sized" bottles? <snicker> Actually I still can't believe I drew that..didn't know such evil creatures existed in my warped little mind.

Robinayles, I believe the squirrel was cute about 12 beers ago, right now he looks a little crazy, scary crazy, don’t get to close unless you have a spare beer to give him. I had to laugh when I saw your pic, nice work. I think that the word “cute” first brings to mind animals and then children for most people.

FridayEve, your Barbarian girl pic is really very good but I’m not sure that it fits the Cute and Crazy category. The image of the girl may instill cute but the girl eating a rat doesn’t instill crazy. To some people eating a live raw rat may seem crazy but to this girl this is a part of every day survival and quite normal, I still love the painting.

J_Grieve, nice work, the mouse is cute and crazy for being so close to a cat that looks like that and do I detect a little hint of fear there.

Doomdragon, very cute but I don’t think that little guy is old enough to know that he’s about to do something crazy, nice work.

Paperclip, the bird and the ‘what is that thing’ being nose-to-nose is cute but only crazy if that thing is carnivorous. I think that the bird is looking to just do a little grooming on the two-legged whatsis, still nice image.

TheBixter, these guys are cute, I like crazy looking creatures like this, looks good.

It’s hard to comment on everybody’s art work but I think everyone has done a great job and I enjoy looking at all of the pictures and ideas.
