View Full Version : dell inspiron - precision - LCD ultrasharp problems

hey, i was doing some research and what ive found is that some people are having problems with theyre laptops LCD screen, watermarks on it, any dell costumer arround here with same problems? of course you must have ultrasharp to answer or be dell at least ;)

Yeah, I've just began noticing this last week with mine. Also, the min/max buttons also appear to be burned into the LCD. For now, it's all pretty subtle and easy to forget about once you get into whatever it is your doing on it. But from reading Dell | Talk (http://delltalk.us.dell.com:81/default.asp?qu=watermarks) , Dell's customer forum, people say it get's progressively worse.

I received mine on April 25th, maybe it only an issue with the early lot.

I was going to call today about this but didn't get around to it. I'll call it in tomorrow and let you know how Dell's customer serive treats me.

But other than these issues with the LCD, I absolutely love it. (Still have a dual AMD 1600+ with 21" monitor for the mother ship)

well, i wish you luck with the support guys... and let me know if they fix your problem.
im worried about that, because im importing the notebook to my country, so having those kind of problems with the screen can be annoying, and sending it back to USA for repairs could be a pain
