View Full Version : First Interior
BlueFarm 12-27-2004, 03:27 AM Hello everyone!
I started working with Vray only a week a ago and made this simple image in 2 hours. Don't mind the textures and the lack of objects in the scene. I made it just for testing purposes.
Any C&C on lighting is welcome.

It;s not bad, for a beginner. keep up the good work, i model interiors too in vray...
Much excercise pays out eventually
i think this picture would be 10x better if u had a nice environment outside the window, which would also color the light, making the whole thing a lot more realistic.
I like all the interior materials except the table and the blue wall. The table looks too noisy to me, and the blue wall looks very cold together with such a white light. If u added the coloured environment light as i suggested along with a warmer colour on that wall i think it would look much better :)

hi! I think simo is right, cou could increase the blurry reflections samples on the table material to get it smoother.
I assume you use a vray light outside the window, right? try to hide it in the render or just use the skylight (combined with hdri it would give a much better atmosphere).
Despite that not bad for the beginning...
