Nice painting, but I think you've overused the smudge tool a little. I only say this because the second I saw the painting I recognised the smudge tool effect and I prefer to wonder how an artist achieved an effect. The artist should always command his tools, not vice versa.

Yes, the blur tool was a bit overused here. This was my first attempt at a PS painting. I had only a trackball, no tablet to paint with . The blur was alluring.
