Hi all,

I did this four months ago, it took less than 2 days to finish
all plus 1-2 days for the tweaking and rendering test.
I used Softimage 3D 3.9

Please send me your comments :)

Beautiful! Maybe bring the camera in closer so that the rose fills most of the shot though.
Something bugs me about the glass, not sure what though.

But hey, I can't make one that good, so I'm in no position to critique anyway. :D

something's bugging about the glass, too, and i think it's the softness of the specularity. it should probably be sharper.

and the gold cording around pillow looks off, like it's not casting a shadow.

how many lights are in this scene?

The rose looks nice but the overall image just make it justice.
To whole blue background just flattens yous picture, loosing much interest.

So bring that camera close to the rose

But that's your work, you do as you like
anyway, good job:beer:

Very impressive modeling work here, looks great! Would suggest working on the lighting some more, tweaking it a tad so our shadows feel a little more realistic. Im going to agree with everyone else also, get that camera in there on that rose! Fine work though!

Thanx for all comments ! :)

The glass bugs me too :hmm:
I will try to correct something when have time.

LyonHaert : 3 lights used in this scene. 1main light , 1 back light and a spot for the light beam.

this looks great!
but i gotta agree with the glassproblem.

maybe the problem with the glass is that if light goes trough this glass the light goes seperate ways due to the different angles of the glass (you get what i mean?). try holding a glass object in the light above a table or something and look at the result on the table.
