This is more of an opinion request than a question, but here goes anyway. I am doing a project that requires a camera tripod (see picture here: http://www.goldenpsx.com/w360a.jpg) to walk/gallop/run about the scene. I am thinking of using a giraffe type feel since this object lends itself nicely to the animal.
Should I either:
A) constrain the movements of the limbs to move in and out and only use the joint where it connects to the base of the mount.
or...
B) add a joint halfway down each leg to allow for a more giraffe-like walk cylce.
The former of the options keeps the physical function of the tripod, but the latter alters it a bit for a more character-like feel.
What do you think? Furthermore, should I add a fourth leg?
Thanks,
Drew.
