nomad2323 12-24-2004, 03:21 AM What is OpenGl? Is it like automatically on or do I have to turn it on?
Can I optimize settings?

1) Opengl is a rendering API (think Direct3D but not limited to Windows). In Maya, it's always used. There's no setting it on or off.
2) Yes you should be able to through the Display Properties=>Settings=>Advanced=>Quadro tab=>Opengl Settings.
3) Yes. I've personally found the least amount of problems regarding Opengl apps and dual monitors when setting the displays to Span (Horizontal or Vertical). Others may have different experiences, but I'm also running a Quadro4 NVS 280 :)

no issues here on a 750xgl, and using it as 2 seperate desktops instead of a span
