Ya thats the one :thumbsup:

If I knew you did not already have it I would have mentioned it ages ago.It also has also has some excellent gradient tools as well distortion etc...kinda hard to decsribe at the moment but very cool all the same :thumbsup: I learnt about them through Arndt Von Koenigsmarcks XL book {sp}

I use Power gradient constantly.

The tool I used above is like a Meta balls paintbrush :)

Forget I said that! After reading the install again I realised it said plugin application folder, not install the plugins to the application folder! D'OH! Liquid is cool!

oooooh I like that one, yeah the SDK has some tools that really should have been in the progrm itself, I never use the standard torus anyomre, only the rounded tube, and the double circles is handy. Love the paint tool for playing around with, and the speriphy deformer is also great. otherwise they are pretty much for interface stuff (in the plugin dialogues) I believe there is a blink track in the timeline plugin trask that if I remeber correctly sucked, and the powergradient and particle volume shaders are awesome, I prefer the power radient over bhodinuts gradient, though they each have their advantage. last I believe there is a cool little plugin tag that makes an oobject face the camera.

Why do they include a gravity deformer that is the same as the standard? Or are they just examples for people to follow?
The atomize plugin, although simple, is wickid! any object you want made into a wire!

the reason for doubles of things like untriangulate and gravity is that this SDK is designed for the programmers more than the users, thee is an example of pretty much everything in C4D, you have a deforemer, primitive object, PArticle and metablall objet (liquid paint tool) all the different gui elements, the atom pluygins is like symmetry and instance and such, so basically this is so when a programmer decides I want to create a deformer plugin, he doesn't need to startfrom scrathc, he has a simple premade one fto change and enhance.

Make sense

Yep, I though it was like that....of course, this liquid painting tool does open quite a few possibilities to anyone with an ounce of grey matter....I suppose in the script you could swap out the object ID of a sphere and use it with any primitive, removing the metaballs if you don't need them, great for placing a few objects in you scene.....

of course if you wanted to do that you could always get the surface painte plugin which is far more functional :)

Yeh....an pay for it. Anyway, I can't program so I won't be trying that just yet!
