1. Paul F. Diaz: original, funny and beatifully animated!
2. AWAKE: great job, but it just missed that extra spark... I also didn't like the facial expression.
3. MrSolo: First few seconds were kind of boring, but when the guy started spinning, it was wonderful. That last jump was a great extra touch, and I just love the animation on the grey fella when the other one's falling.
nice job guys!

1. SuKo -> perfectly to the point, invisible cut. I just love it
2. Paul F Diaz -> very cool animated, I just miss the explosion ;)
3. Vitor Vilela -> very nice, but the rabbit isn't exactly idle before the cut, isn't it...?
In some of the animations I missed the clear difference between idle and action. So while the animation from AWAKE is very good, I find it too busy before the cut for the given task.
Cool work!

1-Awake: Awesome animation man. It was great to see how your progress developed too.
2-Vitor Vilela: Love the character! Very nice website as well :)
3-Paul F. Diaz: Very smooth animation. Great exaggerations.

A very nice job from everyone, really. Even the playblasts expressed mood and story. Great job.
3. Paul F. Diaz Great portrayal of an easy story. I studied the jump for a long time. Nice job.
2. Awake Very nice, fluid animation, but the lack of facial expressions got to me.
1. Ivanisavich Excellent production value and one of the only animators to exhibit secondary action. The book, feet, tackle box, camera movement (both cameras !), backdrop etc. all add so much to the animation. Great job.

RaisedByWolves - best facial expression conveying fear
Diaz - entertaining animation
Farace - great expressions - but not really conveying fear (if "scary" not the object, then would have had my first place vote!)

2. Paul F Diaz - Nice work man. Good poses. Nice tension. I like it.
3. Lil' Mick - C'mon man...
Ivan would have gotten a vote somewhere in there but rules are rules. 150 frames is bending it a little too much.

1. AWAKE - Great movement i can feel the intensity!
2. ivanisavich - Looked at the 1st 100 frames and the cut worked nicely. You should've found a way to end it right then.
3. Paul F Diaz - Loved the jump and yank. The initial action to show his determination wasn't that strong though imho.
Great stuff for what i thought was a pretty difficult challenge to pull off (100 frames seems so short). Too bad i couldn't finish mine on time. When i do would the Animation or Animation Sessions forum be the place to show it for crits? Or should i just leave it and look ahead to the next session?

Allright, firsttimer here, you may ignore me,
1. Vitor vileila, animation was very good and well timed. Great appeal, and of course I felt there was no jump. last ones a good thing
2. Paul F. Diaz, the cut was used to boast the gag, and it worked. But it appealed less to me then vitor's
3. AWAKE's, good animation imo just a bit floaty. the cut stressed the context/surprise. worked I think.
Hey I think I wanna try in the next one. This looks really fun! All done a great job btw!

marthe2k3 (member.php?u=111043) - Great expression/fumbling at the end! Why does he hiccup to begin with?
Paul F Diaz (member.php?u=97854) - Beautiful keyframing throughout. You didn't rush the action.
AWAKE (member.php?u=16337) - Good camera work on top of very nice animation!
Big ups to everyone!

Best animations from my point of view:
1 Paul F Diaz - Beautifull cartoon animation. Can't wait to see full animation.
2 AWAKE - Very good realistic animation. A bit dark.
3 marthe2k3 - I escacially like the humor in this animation.

1. AWAKE. Definitely. The animation was phenominal and the cut was perfectly timed in my opinion.
2. Paul F Diaz. Awesome animation but the cut was disorienting. I couldn't tell what was going on until the movie ended and the QT player held the last frame.
3. Josh Kent. Good animation and it was a little weird having the cut before the reaction but it felt smooth so good job!
really nice ones
