Ok imagine this scene:
"An old 18th century battleship is sailing towards an old fort.
As soon as the warship is in range, it starts a brutal canon ball volley against the fort.
The fort is hit multiple times, but its defences hold and it attacks back the sailing ship.
Ok so how do you shoot this for maximum effect?
What would be the appropiate layout for the scene?
Why I am doing this?
I am currently shooting some background plates in the Caribeean for an upcoming Advanced User FXWars comp challenge.
The plates will be shot on Mini DV and a digital camera and the camera will be static. But before I go and shoot the plates, I would love to hear your input on how to best film this footage.
