View Full Version : Morpher Problem
GRMac13 09-02-2002, 09:44 PM I added a morpher modifier to an object to animate the object changing shapes. The weird part is that after I animated it, it plays back in the viewport, but when I go to render it out, the object renders in it's original shape, and doesn't animate. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

something like that happened to me the other day. The meshsmooth I had at the top of the stack didnt even work. I tried resetting Max & re-opening the file & still nada. The only way I seemed to fix it in the end, was dragging the morpher modifier to the top of the stack, then dragging it back down to its original position. That seemed to recalculate everything & all was good... for now... :hmm:

Thanx Chris. Actually, I got it to work. My problem was that I had other modifiers applied to the morph targets when I applied them to the morpher. I removed all the mods and it finally worked. I had no idea that you couldn't use objects that have mods applied as morph targets.
