View Full Version : Maxtreme in max 5
dvornik 09-02-2002, 07:38 PM Has anyone had any success with maxtreme in max 5? It's so buggy here that it's impossible to use. Old files (like sample files) crash on load, gizmoz are invizible, very stange visual artifacts on subobject level... If you use it successfully could you mention the version you are using?

I use version 4.00.03 and so far no problems. I havn't used max 5 a whole lot though there might be things I still havn't see.

maxtreem in max 5 is very slow. i find that direct 3d is the viewport driver of choice on my quadro dcc. sucks dont it.

Sucks indeed, I just hope that somebody will be able to pick up the Maxtreme code from the ashes of Elsa and continue the support.
thats strange, mine seems to work fine...
But i havent used max5 very long either...

Yeah I also suffer from the missing rotate/scale/move handles in Max5. This is using the latest v4.0.25 version from NVidia. Have taken it off until a fix is found.:annoyed:
