Do you actually want to create the look of something being written, or do you just want to create text? Use a text spline object inside an extrude nurb for making letter objects. Creating writing is a whole nother ballgame though. Depending on what you need, you could write something on paper, scan it, make vectors out of it, import the vectors, and sweep them. Animate the sweep growth to get the look of something being written.

To expand a bit what Jerm wrote:
Under the objects menu you have splines, and there you will find text.
In the box where it says "text" type your own, choose an installed font etc.
Then add an extrude nurbs to your project and drag the text on it so that it becomes dependant of it (a "child").
Now you can use the properties of the extrude object like thickness, caps, ...
Cinema can also read vector data in Illustrator (8) format.

Tnx for the help jerm and Erik Heyninck
I got 2 more questions (they don't belong here, but i don't want to make a new thread)
1. How can I make new points on a object
2. How can I combine 2 objects
Check out the add points function, or the knife tool. There are a number of ways to make new points. To combine two objects, select them both and choose Connect. Don't forget to read through the manual, this kind of stuff is covered entirely.

I've got 1 more question:
i read some tutorials and made some objects, but i still don't know how to make objects visible again ( when i select some Polygons and make only them visible I don't know how to make the other stuff visible again)?
i didn't find the answer anywhere
they are GONE off to the land of dispearing polygons!
well no actually if you look in the selection menu you should see a command titled.. "unhide all" use that and you will have your answer my young padawan
