how do you do things exactly like this?

because this is my 1st time doing 3d modeling + rendering.. so i have no idea how to do it :(
not only the object, but also the floor and the blacked out scene at the rear

Start small, move up in baby steps. It takes years to understand what all the buttons do. There are many theads on this site about getting started, and if you do a seach I'm sure you'll find something that will help.
