Hey all,
In XSI(as well as max I've read) you can use vertex weighting to control things like displacements and texture placement. Is there any way to do this in Maya?
Also, is there anyone who has gotten a work around to get that GG point Cache node to work for particle placement of textures? (I read that is was written for XSI and there isn't a transfer for Maya.. is this still right?)
last one.... read this: http://www.dgp.toronto.edu/people/stam/reality/Research/pdf/surfflow.pdf
Duncan if you ever read this... are there any hopes of this in maya in the future? I am getting misty at the thought of being able to do this!!!
thanks,
Matt
