CGTalk - MAX shortcut key print out

View Full Version : MAX shortcut key print out - How ?

3DS MAX experts;

I have customize my MAX short cut key, then I save it. But when I open the Maxkey.kyb it show two rows of digits that I can't understand. Is there anyway I can print out the shortcut key in the form that can be understand ?

Go to customize>keyboard and press the write keyboard layout button. It generates a txt file that would be easy to print. :thumbsup:

Thanks fot the trick.
I think that would be for MAX 4, right ?What about MAX 3, does it have such function?

I think so but not positive. I know 4 and up have it.

I am going to try this:
Save the Max3 shortcut key to abc.kyb, then load the abc.kyb in MAX 4, then do as u say, write keyboad layout.
Hopefully this will work. I wil tell u if it work.
