CGTalk - Christmas Animation

This is my first post on this thread. My first animation! Basically a tree wants some cookies, hops to get to them and then trips and falls. I've just finished doing some test renders and one animation test for the tree, with no frills. I'm hoping to start animation tomorrow and then render tuesday through thursday. Just in time to show to family on christmas as a sort of animated card.

I've been working on this or about a week. Last minute idea I didn't model everything, I got some out of a collection. But I did texture everything. The lighting is two point lights, with FG. I'm trying to get a certain look, just on the edge of realism, but not photorealistic. i refer to it as "hyper real" I don't know what to call it. I've only been doing this for a little while. I'd love some feedback and ideas.

I finished rendering today. I wasn't as happy with the simulation as I could have been But it's not too bad. Good enough for a Christmas card. Time to throw down some music and sound effects. If any one actually wants to see it let me know. I'll post it. otherwise I'm conserving space and time.

Ok, here is a clip of the card. The sound quality isn't great but my web provider on't let any single file be to big. Just right click and save as.

Hey Aaron, are ya ok? Merry Christmas to ya too, and congratulations!

I liked the shots, but I think the timming could be better. Anyway, You must had enjoyed to make this short animation. Well, I did
(A Gift from Santa Claus) (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=197227). Its a surprise to me, see so few works about the date. It would be an honor if you see my animation.

Thanks Oro, I'm taking a look at your's now. I know the timing could be fixed, but I'm glad to finally hear some input. My family seemed to like it, and thats all it was really for. I only worked on it for about 2 weeks. Should ave given myself more time. ::smiles:: Next year I'll start earlier.
