THis is a scene from Monsters Inc. in the chinese resturaunt. I modelled, lit, and textured the scene to try and match the picture that i found on the internet.. i changed a few thigns such as the food... i was more into getting the lighting correct. PLease Critique

It might be a stupid thing to point out, but the way the wood is cut on the windows, as you can see in the Pixar's picture, is particularly characteristic of japan.

Beautiful picture, keep working with its illumination.

This is just incredible! Did you model the characters by hand? They look like they came right out of the movie!!!

i think the first pic is a screencap from the movie...he's just modeling the set.

yeh man... the pic wtih the characters in it is just to show u what the set looked like... i just tried to replicate it

I made the background more visible and brighter.... changed some of the FG lighting and effects on window frame and some of the food.. and tried to lower the saturation of the objects lower in the scene.

See the side of the table and bench thats nearest to the camera, its lit up more in the original. Add a light blue light near your camera so you get that fill lighting in the foreground.
