I'm having a problem using the physical lens dof shader.
I've set up my scene with a locator at a point i want to remain in focus throughout the shot and i've got a distance dimension node measuring distance between the locator and the camera [with a locator point constrained to the camera], with its distance value piped into the plane value of the lens shader [via a multiply by -1].
when i do test renders in maya it works fine but i rendered out the sequence from the command line and it seems that the plane value has only been evaluated on the first frame.
for now i'll just bake the plane value but does anyone know how i get it to work normally?
