Hey is there any way to render a scene with a camera in full 360°-360° like in myst 3 in C4D? Oh and while im here what would I use so people could do a 360°-360° viewing with a mouse of said image?

Cinema can output Quicktime VR's

in the save option in render settings.

also you can save the image as well as the VR file.

They use Quicktime, but they hspecial optimize all their stuff, they have used qucktime as the fundamental of all three myst games, evolving the games around the quicktime technology, you'll notice Riven played high quality movies even on insanely old small computers that wouldn't handle a internet movie of the same quality. These guys are great encoders and program coders. And very talented artists tool.

C4D's QTVR is really simple to use, and you'll notice in Exile the quality does goe down when looking aBOUT COMPARED TO WHEN YOU STOP. mAKE A REALLY HIGHRES qtvr, AND TRY IT AND IT WILL PROBABLY LOOK BETTER. aLSO USE A SEPERATE PROGRAM TO COMPRESS THE qtvr FOR BETYTER QUALITY AS WELL, RENDER UNCOMPRESSED AND USE STITCHER OR SOMETHING ELSE.

sorry for the caps didn't notice I hit it.

Rotoscoping involves animation, for example Waking Life, SnowWhite, Titan A.E. these were all movies with Rotoscoped characters (betchya didn't know snowhite was rotoscoped did ya) I am sure the term for rendering a 360 must be somthing else.

hmm... that's what we called it when we stuck a camera on a tripod and rotated it to get a 360 degree image.

Of course, that was 25 years ago...

Thats what I want to do with my castle scene, but QTVR can be pretty processor intensive I find :)

I might get a copy of Sorenson squeeze.Apparently you can squash QT files to a fraction of their original size :)
