Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows how can I use maya MR .rla files with afterFX ... i am particulary interested in using the Z channel for DOF. I had problems importing IFFs. and using RLAs it doen't work like RLAs out of 3D studio.

Rla's out of maya do kind of work in afx. The trouble is that the two programs use completely different ranges of numbers for near and far. In afx if you experiment with the white and black point numbers you can get something out of the RLA. For example I found I needed white=0.995 and black=0.993, and then I could see roughly the same greyscale as seen in fcheck.

where would I go and set the black and white points?
