Hi

Here is my first demoreel, it's a compilation of some student work and/or pure cg work.
I made this reel in order to show it to professionnals. I'm trying get an internship in a french cg studio as a cg artist. So I need some feedback to see how professionnal will see it, if they think that there is some potential in it. Because this is of course not highend flame work.
The most of works in it are made with AE. I'm working on AE for about 2 years, so it's kind of a first try as a "professionnal" like work.

well after taking a look at it i can say its really quite good, you impressed me at least, however i am an animator not a compositor, the only gripe i have is the music, but its just a personal opinion, i think your content is quite well.

i hope you get that internship

I would not have used the colored circles pulsing to the music as your first thing, and I would not have let it run for quite as long. Most of the stuff in there was pretty good, the kalidascope was one of my favorites, the hands (Orange) I did not like very much.

too long. with the content you have in this demo reel, it should be about half the length. a agree about not starting with the circles. i like the kalidascope, but you don't need the really slow part at the beginning. i found myself just waiting to see what was coming next because the pacing is slow. also, a slate with your name and contact info should go at the beginning. with that said, i must say that i definately enjoyed what i saw. i hope you get the internship. but i suggest going back and tweaking the presentation.
