ok,
since most of do post ourselves i thaught i'd ask here as well.
1)how do i export my camera data to afx 5.5.
how do i set this up.render only camera to rpf and then...
would appreciate if shown the workflow.

I don't think it's possible to export camera data from max to AE. After Effects can only read 2D tracking data. You can use AE's tracker to "smooth" out the tracking by averaging the margin of error between the 3D and 2D tracks. Maybe combustion supports max camera data, but I'm pretty sure AE doesn't. If it did, I'd most certainly do all my tracking in AE.
